Dr. Bob's Rebreather Main Page (home page)
[ aka the Crestline Experimental Dive Unit ]

The beginning of my Watermanship and Small Boat Handling training.

...leading to the Sioux Air, the first in a long line of Closed Circuit Rebreathers.

The "SIOUX AIR" Closed Circuit Oxygen Rebreather

This is the first Closed Circuit Oxygen Rebreather which I made in 1994. The above photograph shows the "Sioux-Air" in its MOD-1 version. It is a useful device for such activities as underwater photography. This image shows me preparing to "photograph" dinner. Yes, this is but another project which continues to bring me more fun than than I should be allowed to have.
