A running Log of our activities of the year 2011
January
HAPPY NEW YEAR
1
Dive #25 Star of Scotland.
Happy New Year dive, aka "Polar Bear" Dive. Conditions perfect, calm,
sunny, and Great visibility on the wreck, about 25-30 feet on the wreck.
Could not have asked for a better way to start a New Year. (And Happy New
Year was given to Patrick Smith on our way to the wreck. Patrick said that
some "CEDU BREW" was discovered and enjoyed. Yet another way to Dive Into
Oblivion. Smile.)
8 Ride: 2N37, Miller Canyon in SNOW. I
will not do this again real soon. It did not take me very long to
realize that I loose traction as the knobs pack up with snow But it was
fun learning !

11-13 Deck Roof, completion
Finally our deck has a rain/snow resistant roof. (And a runway was
provided for the Cat's enjoyment.)
19 Frist Cold Front brough
heavy rain and winds. (Gusts to 90mph was expected. By morning the
small greenhouse had seven panels blown out. They were spread though
out the neighborhood. All panels retreived and the green house is fully
functioning.)
20 Second Cold Front brought 8 inches
of snow. Glad to see the Deck Roof held up to it's design specifications
of 90mph winds and 8 inches of snow.
Front yard with freshsnow, 8 inches measured on trash can, Deck Roof doing its
job. (Now to shovel the stuff...)
